Tarbert Festivals

There are a number of festivals that occur in Tarbert every year which you may want to see, however be aware that the village can be very busy and accommodation scarce or fully booked. To avoid disappointment you should book your Tarbert accommodation early.

Currently there are a number of festivals a year starting with the biggest which is the Scottish Series, one of the UKs biggest yacht racing events. It starts on the last weekend of May or first in June, There is an awful lot for visitors to see and do.

The now famous Tarbert Seafood festival is on the first weekend of July. If you love seafood then book your rooms now and come and take part in this excellent celebration of the fresh and bountiful seafood landed on our doorstep.

From around the middle of July you have the Tarbert Traditional Boat Festival with 30 or more boats from around the area. If you love boats and the sea you will love this festival. As always there is plenty to do and see.

The other festivals include the Tarbert Fair, the last weekend of July, and the very busy but fantastic Music Festival which is around the middle weekend of September. The book festival is at the end of November and the Christmas fair rounds off the years events at the beginning of December.
